HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Homo Deus
After I finished reading Sapiens I immediately purchased the follow-up book, Homo Deus. In Homo Deus, Harari takes a macro view on the future of humanity and distills it down to the important challenges we face as global species. His writing style is clear, concise, and very well thought out.

In Homo Deus, Harari takes a macro view on the future of humanity and distills it down to the important challenges we face as global species. His writing style is clear, concise, and very well thought out. Some of the concepts presented in the book definitely challenge conventional thinking, and it's these ideas that we will need to grapple with in the 21st century.

Sapiens
Hands down one of the best books I've read to date. Harari explores the ways in which biology and history have defined us and enhanced our understanding of what it means to be “human”. Not only does this book look to the past for answers, it gives insight on where humanity may be headed in the future.

Benefit of the Doubt
This book is a great first step in getting the lay of the land if you're honestly questioning with a literal/Fundamental-ish religious system of belief. My wife and I read through this together and it really helped me understand some of the conflicts I was having in my own thoughts and beliefs.

Coming from a Christian background I always figured doubt was to a thing to be eliminated from my “operating system” as it applied to my faith...but...doubt is there for a reason, a beneficial reason if handled with moderation as all things should be.
This sounds odd to say now, but I still feel that doubts should be done away with, but not by simply dismissing or ignoring them but by honestly accepting that your psyche has placed an investigative task on your mental, philosophical, world view “to do” list.
Give this book a read, it will help clear up that glass in that “through a glass darkly” situation.
Tribe of Mentors
I have been listening to the Tim Ferriss Show podcast for years and this book aligns perfectly with the content on that show.
Tribe Of Mentors
Author: Tim Ferriss
I have been listening to the Tim Ferriss Show podcast for many years and this book aligns perfectly with the content on that show. Tim has interviewed to some of the best thinkers, creators, and authors and distilled down his questions into a book filled with practical and tactical advice from the best in the world. It is a rather thick book with a ton of information. Rather then reading it all at once, I've found myself coming back to it and picking away at a few chapters here and there. It is definitley worth picking up a copy.
Zen Habbits
I stumbled upon this book after reading Leo's blog Zen Habits, which I also highly recommend.
