After I finished reading Sapiens I immediately purchased the follow-up book, Homo Deus. In Homo Deus, Harari takes a macro view on the future of humanity and distills it down to the important challenges we face as global species. His writing style is clear, concise, and very well thought out.
This podcast is a collection of interviews & lectures, some of which are recorded specifically for this podcast, and some that are from his university courses, public lectures, documentary interviews, and YouTube videos from his channel.
Can artificial intelligence predict how different socioeconomic groups behave when confronted with differing religious beliefs?

A deeply insightful and practical look at the importance of myth, story, and mystery. How we can move beyond certainty with grace, and the evolution of human maturity and spirituality.
Hands down one of the best books I've read to date. Harari explores the ways in which biology and history have defined us and enhanced our understanding of what it means to be “human”. Not only does this book look to the past for answers, it gives insight on where humanity may be headed in the future.
Engaging conversations with world-class performers from eclectic areas (investing, sports, business, art, etc.) to extract the tactics, tools, and routines you can use.
I was sent this recommendation and so far so good. It’s a great exploration of ideology that makes you think. The narrator of the film places himself in different older Hollywood movies and breaks down the ideology. Not sure yet about the origin of the name.
This is an incredibly well-done crash course introduction to philosophy...as the name implies.
Fantastic and simple read on being present, with practical wisdom on how to live your life in a vibrant creative space, regardless of what you do for a living.
Thought-provoking article on the subtle and not-so-subtle pervasiveness of patriarchy in our world and what all of us can do to make things better for all people, regardless of gender.
The foremost expert on vulnerability and the harmful effects of shame takes on the difficult topic of belonging and gives some fantastic advice on navigating our interactions with other humans without losing our truth and authenticity.
Fascinating neuroscientists look at how the human conceptualization of God, spirituality, and religion has developed and how it affects each one of us.
This book is a great first step in getting the lay of the land if you're honestly questioning with a literal/Fundamental-ish religious system of belief. My wife and I read through this together and it really helped me understand some of the conflicts I was having in my own thoughts and beliefs.
This podcast goes fairly deep into issues around faith and science in an open, engaging and entertaining way. The two hosts (Mike McHargue & Michael Gungor) have themselves gone through a process of faith deconstruction...
So...I really cant say enough about Mike McHargue and this podcast.
He is genuinely one of the best communicators to bring science and faith together that I have ever listened to.
I have been listening to the Tim Ferriss Show podcast for years and this book aligns perfectly with the content on that show.
I stumbled upon this book after reading Leo's blog Zen Habits, which I also highly recommend.
I bought this book because I have been very interested in mediation and the true nature of consciousness.
Recently stumbled upon Rupert Sheldrake’s talk entitled The Science Delusion at TEDx Whitechapel. The theme for the night was Visions for Transition: Challenging existing paradigms and redefining values (for a more beautiful world).
