Be sure to check out the show notes below the video!

Show Notes:

Victoria's latest book, PARKS OF THE 21ST CENTURY: REINVENTED LANDSCAPES, RECLAIMED TERRITORIES presents fifty-two remarkable parks in the U.S., Mexico, Canada, Europe, and China. These open spaces have turned despoiled and polluted land (including former factories, railroads, and industrial waterfronts) into landscapes that are beneficial to the people who enjoy them and contribute to international efforts to combat climate change. Victoria Newhouse is the author of Towards a New Museum, Chaos and Culture: Renzo Piano Building Workshop’s Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, Athens, and others. Her co-author Alex Pisha is a landscape and architectural designer for cultural, academic, and civic projects.
